Corona Virus is a zoophytic virus which is now called severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus2 (SARS-CoV-2). It outbroke in Wuhan city, China, for the first time. Initially, it was reported to WHO in December 2019. COVID 19 took the form of pandemic and as a global emergency. It spread across the globe in no time. No country could prevent the huge loss caused by Coronavirus. COVID 19 is a novel virus that has puzzled the world


The symptoms may take up to 14 days to appear.
Those symptoms are:

Fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties, pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure, and in the final stages, it may lead to one’s death.

Socio-economic impacts

Corona Virus has caused a great social and economic loss. It has hampered the economy of every country, leading to social disorders. The outbreak of Corona Virus has led to poverty, unemployment and inequalities in the society. In socio-economic fabric, Covid 19 has obstructed people of almost every profession. Unnumbered people of the world are isolated/quarantined due to Corona Virus. They can’t join their jobs unless pandemic is over. WHO is busy finding out ways and techniques to cope with this pandemic.


Covid 19 can’t be prevented by antibiotics. However, if someone, suffering from Covid 19, is hospitalized, he may be given antibiotics to avoid infections


To avoid COVID 19, we must avoid unnecessary social gatherings. We should shun mingling with people who are affected or suspected of COVID 19. Social distancing must be observed. We should wear a mask, use eating and drinking utensils which have not been used by anyone before. We must not sneeze near someone due to which the virus can be transmitted in the form droplets
